  sometimes I buy 2 or 3 in a year sometimes more, it just depends. I have bought them at local stores here in Phoenix and sometimes abroad when traveling (mexico and tahiti) - if I see one I like I buy it!!
  
  never bought one online - like to see what they look like on.
  
  always nice when they go on sale too!! that's a good time to pick up some!

  I usually buy 3 and I buy them in the spring. I used to buy them online when the new catolog for Venus swimwear came out.
  This year I bought my first one in a store...LOVED it! Needed a new look and this was definitly a new look for my trip to Hawaii which was 2 wks ago...pics are posted in my album...more to come. I got so many compliments on it I bought another one from the same designer. (bought online)

    Thanks for all the great information. I own an online beachstore and we specialize in womens bathing suits, so its always great to get some information on shopping habits, etc. Anyone else out there want to take the survey, there are 196 or so of us out there, some of you must have a couple free minutes. Who knows maybe I will make it worth your while (<:

      Hi Tom, I buy about 3 speedo's or similar a year to swim in the pool and about 2 bathingsuits for the beach but honestly I've got to try them on. I know I can return things mailed but it's more convenient to buy them in a store... Worse case scenario if I need a new bathing suit I"ll just buy it where ever I happen to be vacationing at... there are always swim suit stores near the beach!

  I travel with 4 bikinis. Is that too much? They are just so small that they take up no room at all. I try to buy them in the fall when they are cheap and no, I would never buy a swimsuit on line. That seems like a surefire way to have a swimsuit with a baggy bottom which is never cute.

    I buy two to three a year, and usally buy online cause the store's around here only carry baggie ass suits......

  Hello Tom. I usually try to buy whatever looks good on me when I am needing a suit for the season or a vacation. Sometimes I buy them for Costa Rica in the winter. Sometimes I buy them for Florida, California, Italy and Texas in the Spring or Summer.
  
  I have not purchased them on-line, since I like to see what they look like first.
