Anyone know why there are no sand dollars on Sand Dollar beach in California? I saw some live shrimps there hat washed up and also zillions of sand fleas. Had a good time anyway but the large group of folks I went there with were all wondering about the missing sand dollar shells...
It was a magnificent trip nonetheless and the weather was fantastic. In fact, I hope to get to the beach again next week...or even this weekend!

Fri, September 30, 2005 - 11:14 PMI've seen little one (quarter sized or smaller) on Broad Beach in Malibu. I think the surf is too rough in most places. Do sand dollars have "Seasons"?
