Going to Cancun in March!!

I am going to Cancun in March and was wondering if any one has and sugestions of places to definitely go...and more importantly...WHERE NOT TO GO!!! I am planning on just going to shorten the winter up here and get some diving done.

    more info needed....
    how long do you have there?
    how far do you want to go?
    dive? party? retreat? solitude? tourists? ruins?

    my only advice can be.... go south!!!
    cheap, accessible buses! go atleast to playa del carmen, but then keep going to tulum!
    tranquil private beaches, cabana's overlooking the sea, affordable, friendly, nearby diving in cenote's, fun, fun, fun!!!

      Hmm-
      You should definetly try to get to tulum! That place is amazing! There is a temple there that overlooks a picture postcard beach. A must visit if you are anywhere near it.
